The AUTO ILS-A horizontal cylinder internal longitudinal seam automatic welding machine produced by NAEC is based on the customer's requirements, in-depth understanding and research on the characteristics and related standards of the Marine pipe engaged by the customer, and investigation of the user's existing equipment and manufacturing process, and comprehensive implementation technology and experience that OTT has mastered at present. Tailor-made automatic tube seam welding equipment for customers. Using submerged arc welding process, it is used for automatic welding of longitudinal joint of coiled steel pipe. Through special welding head, the minimum diameter of pipe is φ600(customized minimum meets φ350mm) and the maximum longitudinal joint length is 4000mm(the effective travel of beam is 4500mm), the internal longitudinal joint is automatically submerged arc filling and covering. It has the advantages of comprehensive function, stable welding process, high efficiency and good quality.
The equipment has been widely used in Marine engineering, pipe making, pressure vessel, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, tower rod industry, suitable for various kinds of offshore platform conduit, pile pipe, casing, tension pipe, pipe making, pressure vessel, wind power tower rod, power tower rod, communication tower rod and other different forms of horizontal barrel system manufacturing process. It is a special and efficient automatic welding equipment to ensure welding quality, improve welding pass rate and improve production efficiency.

The equipment can be combined with the welding roller frame or the welding displacement unit automatic welding center, suitable for the automatic welding of the outer longitudinal joint of the cylindrical metal structural parts, greatly improve the welding quality and greatly improve the welding efficiency, is now widely used in wind towers, pressure vessels, boilers, petrochemical, shipbuilding, automobile, steel structure and other industries.

The automatic welding system used in this station is composed of the United States Miller Summit Arc 1250 multi-function welding power supply, RAD400 wire feeder, HDC1500DX digital welding program control box and other key configurations. Single wire single arc or double wire double arc two processes can be selected. Square-wave AC + square-wave AC double wire double arc submerged arc welding can achieve low temperature welding (≤ 30KJ/cm), improve the mechanical properties of the weld and eliminate the magnetic effect of the workpiece. The qualified rate of welding is improved, and the efficiency is 15% higher than that of traditional DC + AC double wire double arc welding.
