The double-head four-drive welding center is composed of cantilever pipe welding machine, chuck driving machine and welding driven rotary roller mechanism. The module combination of cantilever pipe welding machine, welding active rotary roller mechanism and welding driven rotary roller mechanism; The module combination of cantilever pipe welding machine, press arm type welding roller mechanism and welding driven rotary roller mechanism can meet the welding requirements of pipe + pipe, pipe + elbow, pipe + flange, pipe + tee, pipe + pipe + elbow, elbow + pipe + flange and other pipe assembly. The center is mainly composed of 2 clamp drive machines, 2 cantilever pipe welding machines, 5 welding driven rotary roller mechanism, 1 welding active rotary roller mechanism, 1 pressure arm type welding roller mechanism and 3 sets of track components.

The "double head four drives" welding center can achieve that when a welding head and a drive are used in combination, the other drive can be prepared for the upper and lower positions, that is, a welding head can work alternately between two sets of drive equipment, thus greatly reducing the waiting time of the welding machine because of the workpiece loading and unloading process or other preparation processes. It can reduce the non-welding working time of the welding head and improve the arc time of the welding head in the unit cycle, so as to improve the actual production capacity of the single welding head or station.

The combination mode of "double welding head four drives" has the advantages of:

1) Each welding head is equivalent to 2 sets of drives, so generally, the welding head can alternate between 2 drives, welding and loading and unloading can be carried out simultaneously on the two sets of drives respectively, improving the arc time of the welding head.

2) When stainless steel is used, the two sets of drives work alternately, which can also reduce the waste of welding head due to waiting for argon filling and interlayer cooling time, and improve the arc time of welding head.

3) When alloy steel is used, it can also reduce the waste of time due to factors such as waiting for preheating setting and temperature rise of the welding head, and further improve the arc time of the welding head.

4) In addition, the double welding head four-drive mode, two welding heads in one station can also weld 12m long tubes (27m long working position) at the same time, further improving the working efficiency of the welding head.
