Tank construction is widely applied in petroleum, petrochemical, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, nuclear, ocean etc., the diameter of small tank can only to several meters and for large tank, the diameter can reach hundreds of meters. The welding seam to execute automatic welding is normally at 1G (butt seam), 2G (girth seam), 3G (vertical seam), 2F (corner seam) etc. For different materials, specifications and types tank in different industries, NAEC has developed the bottom-to-top construction method/top-to-bottom construction method and corresponding automatic welding equipment which has widely applied in several important projects in different industries and countries, and open a brand new phase in premium and high efficient tank construction.

Currently, NAEC has skillfully acquired the whole set of construction solution and equipment of bottom-to-top/top-to-bottom tank construction. Through advance solution, construction method and high efficient assembly, NAEC is able to construct one tank during a month for customer, and the one-time qualified rate of X-ray inspection is not less than 99.5%, the mechanical performance can meet the requirement of low temperature impact test.
